OUR STORY

1st Generation Homestead

Calf and Graff Farm started in 2016 when Jason and Elise purchased a 10 acre farm between Dexter and Chelsea, Michigan. Originally a farmstead built in 1874 by George Bereis, we have reestablished the land as a working homestead.

ABOUT CALF and GRAFF FARM

We are passionate about raising healthy and happy animals to help nourish our family and yours. Elise's life long dream of making goat cheese was realized when we established our herd of Mini Nubian goats. We are committed to maintaining breed standards while striving for excellence in milk production. We are looking forward to pursuing milk testing in the coming years. We are registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association. Take a minute to look over our herd profiles on the Mini Nubian page.

In 2019 we added Kunekune pigs to our farm. Originating in New Zealand and nearly going extinct, these animals are now raised as livestock across the world. Characterized by their fat and round state, short snout, and wattles Kunekunes are a friendly livestock option for homesteaders. We are particularly excited to be involved in the conservation of this lovable breed. We are registered with the American Kunekune Pig Registry. Please look through our Kunekune profiles for more information.
